Making the Connection...
In 2011, the City of Garnett began a journey to develop a new "village" concept for economic development. Part of this plan consists of a branding and imaging project that was conducted by Professor Gregory Thomas and his students at the University of Kansas.
In 2012, watch as the collaboration between Anderson County Economic Development (a/k/a, ACDA - "Anderson County Development Agency"), Garnett Area Chamber of Commerce, Garnett Tourism and the newest entity, the Downtown Network Committee engage in sharing, brainstorming and setting trends that will foster positive partnerships between businesses, financial partners and most importantly, the customer.
