2013 Passport to Adventure Tour
Presented by Garnett Tourism
Every Tuesday in May, 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.

DON'T MISS THESE UPCOMING TOURS!

THE TOUR START HERE!

Get your free passport at Garnett City Hall, Garnett Public Library, Garnett Recreation Center, or when visiting your first tour stop. One passport per person.  Get your passport officially stamped at each tour destination. Surrender your passport at the last stop on May 28 and you’ll be entered in a random drawing at 7:30 p.m. Prizes will be as follows: 

              $25 “Chamber Bucks” Garnett Area Chamber of Commerce Gift Certificate

              $50 “Chamber Bucks” Garnett Area Chamber of Commerce Gift Certificate

              $100 “Chamber Bucks” Garnett Area Chamber of Commerce Gift Certificate

            AND…

              A number of gift baskets containing items from the local area!

 

To be eligible for the random prize drawing the owners of the winning passports must have visited 4 or more stops on the tour as scheduled below.  You need not be present at the time of the drawing to win.  Grab your best friend. Parents gather the kids. Experience the fun and enjoy the journey that awaits you on the Passport to Adventure Tour.

1888 Victorian home owned by the Anderson County Historical Society. 
Cost: Freewill donation.
Country Fabrics, 108 E. 5th Avenue, Garnett.
A quilter’s paradise. 
Cost:  Free to browse, shopping welcome!
Santa Fe Depot, 7th & Main, Garnett. Surrender passports at this last stop.  View railroad memorabilia, enjoy refreshments and prize drawings!

Valley View Elk Ranch, 19324 NW K-31 Highway.
Take a tram ride to see the elk, then back at the ranch enjoy a short presentation and sample products. 
Cost:  $4 per person.

Tuesday, May 7, 2013, 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. -

Community Country Store, 22800 NW 1700 Road.
Amish pantry items, bargain goods, Mont Ida Meats and more. Browse at your leisure this unique country store.
Cost: Free to browse, shopping welcome!

Kincaid High School Community Center, 503 5th Street, Kincaid.
Tour this wonderful multi-purpose building full of historic memorabilia.  
Cost:  Freewill donation.
