Barnhart’s Honey Berry Farm. Visitors enjoy blueberry
pancakes with fresh blueberries hot off the griddle! Then, get to pickin’ some blueberries to take home and learn about harvesting honey.

Samuel S. Tipton Stage Coach Stop (Mineral Point). Tour this 1857 3-story standstone structure that stands tall on the highest point in Anderson County. Partake of the wagon ride around Inspiration Point, Meditation Garden, view the authentic wagon trail ruts, a WPA lake and where coal was dug for the stage coach stop’s operation.

Valley View Elk Farm. “Meet and Eat” this meat that’s low in fat!
Board the bus for Borntragers for lunch on the farm.
Pass the time at Passin’ Thru Clocks. A unique and quirky experience, explore a barn and a home full to the brim with clocks of all kinds, including hand carved animated wooden clocks that have received international recognition.

Anderson County’s Plain People Backyard Tour

McKinzie Tours of Overland Park, Kansas brought a sold-out tour bus to Anderson County on
Thursday, June 18, 2009 with stops at Valley View Elk Farm, Barnhart's Honey Berry Farm, Bontragers (lunch), Bauman's Cedar Valley Farms, Marie's Natural Foods and the Garnett Farmer's Market.
